Maine students must cover Maine Studies sometime between the 6th and 12th grade. I believe this workbook will be a fun way to do it! While it might be easier for some and harder for others, you the parent/teacher can make it work for your child. If you are working with credits, a half credit is generally considered to be about 40 hours. If you see that your student is having a rough time with it, go through and cut back on some of the assignments. You customize it to fit your child's pace. Another option would be to consider having them work on it over a couple years! Or possibly put it away altogether and save it for the following year. On the other hand, your student may speed right through it. You can assign your student to prepare an optional project. There is page to help inspire that as well.
